Tap & Pay, without a dedicated POS terminal
Use a compatible Android tablet or Apple iPad as your checkout device. Authorised merchants can take in-person card payments by camera scan or manual entry, and by contactless tap on supported Android devices with NFC. If required, the cardholder completes 3-D Secure in the app, and staff can review payment attempts there. Availability depends on app and device compatibility, merchant approval and processor terms.

Where available, Dynamic Currency Conversion can let international cardholders choose between the local currency and their home currency at the terminal. The choice and exchange-rate information must be presented clearly and neutrally, subject to card-scheme rules, local requirements and provider approval.
